Carlo Biado defeats Mika van Berkel 10–7 in his second match at the Jacoby Scottish Open. Van Berkel, just 18 years old, is one of the rising stars in European pool, having recently won the WPA World Junior 10-Ball Championship and several European youth titles.

Up next for Biado is Kuo Po-Cheng — a veteran of the game and one of Taiwan’s most respected players. Known as “The Little Monster,” Kuo is a two-time World 9-Ball finalist (2005, 2010) and an Asian Games gold medalist in 8-ball. Their match is scheduled for May 3 at 8:00 PM Philippine time.
