The World Nineball Tour is set to make its way to Florida for the first time, with the introduction of the inaugural Florida Open Pool Championship, scheduled from August 5–10, 2025, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando.

This upcoming event will feature a 256-player field, including the top 128 players from the WNT rankings, and will follow the proven format of Matchroom’s major tournaments. A total prize purse of $200,000 is up for grabs, with $40,000 awarded to the champion.

Spectator tickets will be available soon, while fans across the U.S. can catch all the action live on WNT TV. International broadcast partners are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Located in the heart of Orlando, the Caribe Royale Resort previously played host to the 2024 Mosconi Cup, which drew over 10,000 fans. With its spacious layout and modern amenities, the venue is expected to provide a high-quality experience for both players and attendees.

Organizers say the Florida Open is more than just another tournament—it’s a key addition to the growing World Nineball Tour calendar and a continuation of Matchroom’s commitment to hosting elite-level events in the United States.

The 2024 Mosconi Cup USA captain Skyler Woodward shared his enthusiasm, noting that the Caribe Royale atmosphere made a strong impression and that the upcoming event has all the elements to be another crowd favorite.
