3 wins and 2 losses for our 🇵🇭 players on the opening day of the Saigon Women’s 9-Ball Open. Rhaki Constantino dropped a close match against Liu Shasha—a match she could have taken—but she’ll have another chance tomorrow against Singapore’s Venus Lim. Carmille Buhat also came up short against Spain’s Mayte Ropero, though she’ll look to bounce back against Japan’s Hiroko Sahara in the losers’ bracket.

On the bright side, Sofhia Vyanca Rosales secured her first international win against Vietnam’s Đinh Thị Thanh Nga, while Chezka Centeno looked dominant in her debut match. Denise Santos also impressed, delivering a shutout 4–0, 4–0 victory over Mai Đào Trúc of Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Rubilen Amit will finally see action tomorrow. Based on her recent social media updates, she’s still not at 100%, and she’ll be facing a dangerous opponent in Japan’s Yuki Hiraguchi.
