Dương Quốc Hoàng claimed the title at the Poison 8-Ball Championship after a convincing performance in the final against Nguyễn Văn Đăng.

The opening phase of the match saw both players trading racks, with neither able to establish a clear advantage as the score remained level at 5-5. As the match progressed, Hoàng began to take control of the table, maintaining consistent accuracy and showing strong cue ball control and shot selection.

From that point, Hoàng put together a decisive run of six consecutive racks to move ahead 11-5. Nguyễn Văn Đăng managed to add one more rack, but Hoàng stayed composed to close out the match at 13-6 and secure the championship.

With the victory, Dương Quốc Hoàng earned a prize of 288,888,888 VND (approximately USD $11,800). This win also marks the first 8-ball title of his professional career.

The Poison 8-Ball Championship is a national-level tournament, with the winner earning official recognition as Vietnam’s 8-ball champion.
