Predator Austrian Open 2026 ended with two champions crowned at the Alpina Hotel in St Johann, Austria, as Albin Ouschan and Chen Chieh Hua claimed the men’s and women’s titles in the Alps.

Ouschan delivered a commanding performance on home soil, defeating Joshua Filler 11-6 in the men’s final. In the women’s event, Chen Chieh Hua, also known as Amber, completed an emotional run by defeating Jasmin Ouschan 9-4 to win the title in her first ever Predator Euro Tour appearance.

Albin and Amber Grab the Glory in the Alps

The two finals took place on Sunday evening at the Alpina Hotel, with both title matches carrying strong storylines. Ouschan was chasing another EuroTour title in front of his home crowd, while Chen was looking to cap a memorable first appearance on the Predator Euro Tour.

Both champions handled the pressure well. Ouschan produced his best match of the tournament when it mattered most, while Chen showed composure and control to complete a strong run through the women’s field.

Ouschan Starts Fast and Finishes Strong

The men’s final brought together two of Europe’s strongest players, with Albin Ouschan facing Joshua Filler for the title. Many expected a close match, especially after several tight contests throughout the tournament, but Ouschan took control early.

The Austrian opened up a 5-0 lead, taking advantage of early errors from Filler and quickly building momentum. That lead soon grew to 8-1, putting Ouschan in a commanding position in the alternate-break format.

Filler fought back and reduced the gap to 8-3, then 9-5, and later 10-6. However, Ouschan stayed composed and closed out the match to secure an 11-6 victory.

Playing in front of his home crowd, Ouschan delivered a clinical final performance and claimed his third Predator EuroTour title.

The win added another major EuroTour title to Ouschan’s career, following previous victories in 2012 and 2015. It was also a special moment for Austrian fans, as one of their own lifted the trophy on home soil.

Chen Chieh Hua Claims Emotional First EuroTour Title

In the women’s final, Chen Chieh Hua completed a memorable title run by defeating Jasmin Ouschan 9-4.

Chen, who also goes by Amber, had competed earlier in the Predator Pro Billiard Series and decided to extend her stay in Austria. That decision proved to be the right one, as she went on to capture the Predator Austrian Women’s Open title.

Her route was not straightforward. After a loss to Bojana Sarac sent her to the one-loss side, Chen fought her way back through the field and defeated several strong players to reach the final.

The championship match was still within reach for both players at the midpoint, with Chen leading 5-3. From there, she pulled away from Jasmin Ouschan and closed out a well-earned 9-4 victory.

For Chen, the title was an emotional breakthrough after a long wait to return to the winner’s circle.

Semi-finalists Complete the Podium Picture

The men’s semi-finalists were Oliver Szolnoki and David Alcaide. Szolnoki fell to Ouschan 11-8, while Alcaide was defeated by Filler 11-6.

In the women’s event, Sandra Baumgartner and Marion Jude reached the semi-finals. Chen defeated Baumgartner 9-2, while Jasmin Ouschan booked her place in the final with a 9-1 win over Jude.

EuroTour Returns in August

The Predator Euro Tour is scheduled to return from August 20 to 23 with the Longoni Open in Treviso, Italy.

The 2026 season also carries added importance, with WPA World Ranking points now available on both the men’s and women’s Predator Euro Tours.
