2026 Florida Open: Players, Schedule, Prize Money and How to Watch

The World Nineball Tour returns to Orlando for the second edition of the 2026 Florida Open Pool Championship, bringing together 256 players for six days of world-class competition at the Caribe Royale Resort.

Running from August 4 to 9, the tournament will feature defending champion Aloysius Yapp, reigning world champion Carlo Biado, Shane Van Boening, Joshua Filler and many of the biggest names in professional pool.

The 2026 Florida Open features a US$225,000 prize fund, with the champion receiving US$40,000 and lifting the Palm Tree Trophy.

Players to Watch

A world-class field featuring World Nineball Tour professionals, rising stars, wildcard entrants and amateur hopefuls will compete for the title.

Singapore’s Aloysius Yapp returns as the defending champion after defeating five-time US Open champion Shane Van Boening in the 2025 final.

Reigning world champion Carlo Biado will lead the Filipino challenge, while former world champions and established tour stars will also be chasing the Palm Tree Trophy.

Tournament Format

The Florida Open will begin with a double-elimination stage, giving players two opportunities to remain in the tournament. This stage will continue until the original 256-player field has been reduced to 128.

The remaining players will then enter a single-elimination knockout bracket. From that point onward, every match will be win-or-go-home as the field battles its way towards the championship match.

2026 Florida Open Prize Fund

A total of US$225,000 will be distributed among the players reaching the last 128, including US$40,000 for the champion and US$18,000 for the runner-up.
