Filipino cue artists Carlo Biado, Anton Raga, Jeff De Luna, and Lee Van Corteza will participate in the upcoming Connecticut 9-ball Open.

The two-day event will start on September 22 at 11:00 PM Manila time and will feature 64 participants, including top names such as Shane van Boening, the Ko Brothers (Ko Ping Chung and Ko Pin Yi), and the 2023 European Open champion, David Alcaide.

Biado comes into the tournament fresh from winning the Raxx MVP Open, where he staged a come-from-behind victory against Germany’s Moritz Neuhaussen.

Most of the players in this tournament will also be competing in Matchroom’s US Open event, which kicks off on September 25.
