Aloysius Yapp defeats Shane Van Boening 13–10 to capture the title.
It was a game of runs, with Yapp trailing 1–5 early in the match before storming back to take a 9–5 lead. Van Boening answered with a run of his own, tying it up at 9–9.
Yapp then pulled off a ridiculous jump shot to pocket the 3 and reach the hill first. He had a chance to seal the win but completely missed while trying to swerve the cue ball to pocket the 5 in the corner. SVB cleared the rack for his final point of the match, before Yapp closed it out to finally claim the Florida Open title.
Yapp pockets another $40,000 and strengthens his grip on the No. 2 spot behind Carlo Biado in the Reyes Cup standings. Van Boening takes home the $16,000 runner-up prize.

was it a visa issue that AJ Manas was not able to compete in Florida Open plus the US open I am presuming?
Does AJ Manas have US visa issues? Matchroom should at least act themselves to be an accessory in this process to ensure players would not be faced with these kind of issues. Same with James Aranas.
I think there was a scheduling delay when he applied for his visa. They sent their papers early but it took sometime for the US embassy to sort them out.
