The 2025 Reyes Cup has confirmed its non-playing captains: 🇵🇭 Francisco “Django” Bustamante will lead Team Asia, while 🇺🇸 Jeremy Jones will captain Team Rest of the World.

The event takes place October 16–19 at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Manila, marking the second edition of the tournament named after Efren “Bata” Reyes.

Leadership Roles

Bustamante, a former World Champion, steps in as captain for Team Asia as they look to defend the title on home soil. Jones, a former US Open Champion, takes charge of Team Rest of the World in his first Reyes Cup captaincy.

Both bring extensive experience to their roles—Bustamante with strong ties to the Filipino crowd, and Jones with a reputation for tactical insight and team management.

Bustamante on his appointment: “It’s an honour to be named captain here in the Philippines. The Reyes Cup means so much to our fans, and I will do everything I can to help our team defend the title.”

Jones on leading Team Rest of the World: “I’m thrilled to be captain. We’re coming to Manila with one mission: to make history and bring the trophy back with us.”

Final player qualification spots are set to be decided at the Hanoi Open Pool Championship (October 7–12, 2025), with wildcard selections to follow.
