Two of the Philippines’ finest are heading to the world stage once again, as Rubilen Amit and Chezka Centeno are confirmed to compete in the upcoming Oneida WPA Women’s World 8-Ball Championship, set for July 22–26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.

The event will feature 64 of the world’s elite women players from 23 countries, all competing for one of the most prestigious titles in women’s pool.

Centeno comes in with unfinished business after finishing as runner-up in last year’s first edition, where she fell just short in a hill-hill final against Austria’s Jasmin Ouschan, 9–8.

Amit, another world champion and one of the most accomplished Filipina cue artists, is also on a quest to add another major world title to her illustrious career.

The Filipina champions are back on the world stage.
