Philippines – Carlo Biado, Roland Garcia, Rubilen Amit, Chezka Centeno
Chezka Centeno is fresh from her recent Women’s 10 Ball World Championship. Roland Garcia has been playing well in his latest tournaments — winning the Inaugural Battle of the Bull 1 Pocket event. Carlo and Rubilen have won it all and know what it takes to win it again.
Germany – Joshua Filler, Moritz Neuhausen, Pia Filler
A team with Joshua Filler will always be in contention. Now, with the rising star Moritz Neuhausen, Team Germany will be one of the top teams in this event. Pia Filler was able to get 3rd place in a stacked 2023 Ladies China Open so she’s a dangerous player as well.
Poland – Wiktor Zielinski, Wojciech Szewczyk, Daniel Macioł, Oliwia Zalewska
There’s not much I can say other than this group is just an all-around solid team from top to bottom. I will be surprised if this team doesn’t make it to the later rounds.
Chinese Taipei – Jung Lin Chang, Kun Lin Wu, Chou/Chieh Yu
Probably not the strongest team that Chinese Taipei can send to Puerto Rico, but still a very dangerous trio of well-accomplished veteran players who always go deep into many tournaments.
Austria – Albin Ouschan, Mario He, Jasmin Ouschan
Albin was the runner-up in the recent Hanoi Open and Mario He just won the annual American 14.1 Straight Pool Championships. Jasmin is always a force to be reckoned with. This team must be one of the sleeper picks of this tournament.
