The 30th Annual Jay Swanson Memorial, widely known as “The Swanee,” returns to Griff’s Las Vegas on Monday and Tuesday, February 16–17, 2026. This prestigious $2,500 added 9-ball event serves as an ideal warm-up for players attending the CSI/BCA events at The Westgate, which are scheduled to begin on February 18th.
Tournament Format and Rules
The competition is a 64-player singles tournament featuring a standard double-elimination format across 9 tables. Match lengths are structured as follows:
- Winners Bracket: Race to 8
- Losers Bracket: Race to 7
- Finals: Race to 11 (Standard format, not true double elimination)
The event will be played under local rules, and all results will be reported to FargoRate.

Registration and Entry Fees
The total entry fee is $100, which includes an $80 entry and a $20 green fee. Registration can be completed in person at Griff’s or via PayPal. For PayPal entries, please use the “Friends & Family” option and send payment to [email protected]. Be sure to include “Swanee” and the player names in the payment notes.
